Why I wanted to come to WSBG : My wife and I love playing board games, and both have competitive streaks. WSBG seemed like a really fun challenge and we hoped to meet some cool people along the way! Last year we both played in the Dune Imperium Ring event (separate tables) against people who lived less than 30 minutes away from us, and we've been playing board games with them all year to prep for this year. We never would've met without WSBG and we've really enjoyed getting to know them. Thank you!

Biggest Board Game Nemesis : My wife

Biggest Game tip : Don't get in your head, follow through on your plan, deviate if you get forced to, but most importantly have fun.

For those on the fence I would say : Come for the open play at least! You can get lost in the expansive game library, and it's really easy to join and start pick-up games. Being able to do the outer rings is a lot of fun and you get to meet all sorts of people too. The staff also does a great job at conflict resolution. The first year of WSBG I had a bad rules-lawyer interaction in the main event with another player. I intended to do something to reach an outcome, but I went about it slightly wrong and no new information had been acquired by any player. The judges and event organizer deliberated for quite awhile before ultimately ruling against me, strictly following the rules they set for the year. However they then changed the rule moving forward in order to reduce a situation like that happening again. All of my wife and I's experiences with WSBG have been great, and we plan to keep going year after year!

**HOTEL NIGHTS – This highly discounted nightly rate is for a Standard room with 2 Queen Beds (King can be requested). Double occupancy included. There is addition charges of $30 per night per person for guests 3 and 4 if desired to have more than 2 in the room. Max number of guests in the room is 4. This ticket also allows for the holder to buy up to one (2) *Guest Passes at 33% off so they can bring friends to enjoy the side events with them.

This Single Ring Event Competitor ticket gives the ticket holder registration into one (1) of the 16 Ring Championship games of their choice plus; a five (5) day entry pass to all the WSBG side events taking place at the event in Las Vegas. Side events include: Open Gaming, Access to the Board Game Library, Exhibitor Hall, ability to enter into Outer Ring Tournaments, Celebrity Raffle, Demo Area and more. This ticket also allows for the holder to buy up to one (1) *Guest Pass so they can bring a friend to enjoy the side events with them.
