ABOUT WSBG

It’s an event for players designed by players.

The World Series of Board Gaming is an annual event held in Las Vegas that supports casual and competitive board gaming. WSBG urges gamers to sharpen their board gaming skills by attending regional, national and international board gaming conventions, as well as participating in local game play.

While WSBG encourages competitors to attend conventions and other gatherings of board game enthusiasts, WSBG is not a convention or conference in the traditional sense. Events are not open to the general public; only gamers and guests with passes can access the attractions and cheer on players.

Conventions and game stores: Do not hesitate to send players who will wear your team shirt! Showing team spirit promotes your organization and demonstrates the unity, fun and camaraderie created when we get together and share our passion for board gaming.

Hundreds can compete, but only 16 will go home as a Ring Event winner, and only one will go home with $25,000 and the WSBG Bracelet!

Stay and Play Ticket – BEST DEAL! – This package is limited to the first 300 people who purchase it! Once sold out there will be no more. In this package the ticket holder will receive entry into four (4) Ring Event Games of their choice (NOTE: only one ring event game can be played per day), plus get a **4-night 5-day stay at Horseshoe for only $549 (includes hotel taxes and resort fee). Also in this ticket is a five (5) day entry pass to all the WSBG side events taking place. Open Gaming, Access to the Board Game Library, Exhibitor Hall, ability to enter into Outer Ring Tournaments, Celebrity Raffle, Demo Area and more. This ticket also allows for the holder to buy up to one (3) *Guest Passes at 50% off so they can bring friends to enjoy the side events with them.

*Guests will be allowed to participate in all Side Events (Open Gaming, Game Library, Exhibitor Hall, Ceremonies, etc.) Guests are NOT permitted to participate in any of the 16 Ring Games, or ORG Games (Outer Ring Games).

**HOTEL NIGHTS – This highly discounted nightly rate is for a Standard room with 2 Queen Beds (King can be requested). Double occupancy included. There is addition charges of $30 per night per person for guests 3 and 4 if desired to have more than 2 in the room. Max number of guests in the room is 4. Ancillary charges to the room, if any, will be charge to the charge card you present when checking-in at the hotel. 

This Quadruple Ring Event Competitor ticket gives the ticket holder registration into four (4) of the 16 Ring Event games of their choice (note: only one Ring Event game can be played per day.) This ticket also includes a five (5) day entry pass to all the WSBG side events taking place.  Open Gaming, Access to the Board Game Library, Exhibitor Hall, ability to enter into Outer Ring Tournaments, Celebrity Raffle, Demo Area and more. This ticket also allows for the holder to buy up to one (3) *Guest Passes at 50% off so they can bring friends to enjoy the side events with them.

*Guests will be allowed to participate in all Side Events. Guests are NOT permitted to participate in any of the 16 Ring Games or ORG (Outer Ring Games).

This Double Ring Event Competitor ticket allows the ticket holder registration into two (2) of the 16 Ring Championship games of their choice (only one (1) Ring Event game can be player per day) and saves you $50 on the 2nd game registration. Also included in this ticket is a five (5) day entry pass to all the WSBG side events taking place.  Open Gaming, Access to the Board Game Library, Exhibitor Hall, ability to enter into Outer Ring Tournaments, Celebrity Raffle, Demo Area and more. This ticket also allows for the holder to buy up to one (2) *Guest Passes at 33% off so they can bring friends to enjoy the side events with them.

*Guests will be allowed to participate in all Side Events. Guests are NOT permitted to participate in any of the 16 Ring Games or ORG (Outer Ring Games).

This Single Ring Event Competitor ticket gives the ticket holder registration into one (1) of the 16 Ring Championship games of their choice plus; a five (5) day entry pass to all the WSBG side events taking place at the event in Las Vegas. Side events include: Open Gaming, Access to the Board Game Library, Exhibitor Hall, ability to enter into Outer Ring Tournaments, Celebrity Raffle, Demo Area and more. This ticket also allows for the holder to buy up to one (1) *Guest Pass so they can bring a friend to enjoy the side events with them.

*Guests will be allowed to participate in all Side Events. Guests are NOT permitted to participate in any of the 16 Ring Games or ORG (Outer Ring Games).
